Hugo award winning Timothy Zahn will be signing in the Atlanta area on February 8th.  Zahn is best known for his adaptation of the “Thrawn Trilogy” which is generally considered Episodes 7, 8, and 9 in book form.  Zahn’s work helped revive Star Wars fandom in the literary world.  Members of the 501st will be providing an Honor Guard for this event.  We hope you can make it out.

Two of our local members, Alex Smith and Jimmy Burns, were part of a group of 200 501st Legion Stormtroopers asked to take part in the 2007 Rose Bowl Parade.  The 501st participated at the official invitation of Lucas Film as a part of LFL’s Star Wars Spectacular!  This was an amazing experience for all involved and the 501st as well as the Ga501st is extremely honored to have taken part in this epic event.  Visit the Gallery for pictures.
