The remaining months for the 501st Georgia Garrison definitely did not go out with a wimper.
The Garrison ended November with giving Four-year-old Ryan Ehildil the best delayed Halloween ever. Ryan Ehildil was a patient at The Children’s Hospital in Atlanta and was not able to take part in the Halloween festives with everyone else. Well the 501st would not stand for it and brought Halloween to him.
As if we need someone to plays out, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra called us in for their Sci-Fi Spectacular! Our troops had fantastic time enjoying the familiar music with the rest of our Geeky community. One of those members being the Famous George Takei!
Finally, we ended the year by giving our time to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. We showed off our Holiday Cheer in the CHOA Christmas Parade and a personal meet and greet at the Children’s Hospital.
