Mission Reports: Operation May-the-Fourth

A resounding thank you to all our troopers, and our fellow members in the Bespin Base of the Rebel Legion, Naast Clan of the Mandalorian Mercs, and the Ryloth School of the Galactic Academy for making this past weekend’s May 4th, 2019 such an amazing success!

We had over 30 events across the state of Georgia and we spread the Star Wars love to a lot of fans!  The events we covered included a wide range of charity events, from the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins to the Vulcan Quarry Crusher Run in Norcross to the Dream Big Prom for adults with disabilities in Atlanta to COPA United to the Salvation Army event in Augusta to the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum to Liberal Arts at Light Speed at the Savannah College of Art and Design to a wedding or two . . . and many more.  Many of our troopers elected to volunteer their time at multiple events in a day, which meant many hours in costume or handling, not to mention time on the road to get from event to event.

It looks like all our troops had an amazing time, while being bad guys doing good.

That said, it’s not just the costumed troopers that make for a great time, it’s also coordinators, handlers, photographers, and our event hosts that ask us to come out and be part of their events.  We appreciate and value the hard work of all of these folks and couldn’t do it without them.

May the Force be with you always and beware the Revenge of the Fifth!
